CLK Engage Micro-School: Lessons Learned From Year 1

The Public Schools of Calumet, Laurium & Keweenaw accelerated their personalized learning progression by piloting a micro-school (CLK Engage) in grades 1, 2, and 3 for the 2021-2022 school year. Their teachers and administrators provided a brief overview of the CLK Engage micro-school, the impact of a personalized, multi-aged program on students’ social, emotional, and academic learning, first year successes, pitfalls and recommendations, and plans for year two.
