Integrating Career Connected Learning into MTSS: Foundations, JMG, and District Implementation
Discover how Youth Solutions leverages the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework to deliver meaningful Career Connected Learning across Michigan. This presentation highlights two core offerings: Youth Solutions' Foundations service, which builds a comprehensive, school-wide career development system, and Jobs for Michigan’s Graduates (JMG), which delivers targeted career exploration, preparation, and skill-building programming.
To illustrate this model in action, a guest presenter from Berrien Springs Public Schools will share their district's implementation story. Learn how they integrated Foundations and JMG into their middle school and alternative school environments, including scheduling solutions, student impact, and key takeaways for district leaders and practitioners looking to scale career readiness.

How Virtual Programs Use National Quality Standards to Guide Improvement
How can virtual schools and programs use quality standards as practical tools for reflection, decision-making, and continuous improvement?
In this moderated panel discussion, leaders from three virtual programs will share how they use the National Standards for Quality Online Programs (NSQ) to examine program practices, identify opportunities for growth, and strengthen the learner experience. Panelists will offer real-world examples of how the standards inform their work and discuss how a structured accreditation process can provide an additional framework for sustained improvement. Participants will leave with practical ideas for beginning or deepening standards-based improvement within their own programs.
